My Teacher Librarian helps me to know whether or not a website is a good source of information. She taught me to RADCAB a website and not to trust everything on the internet!
ReplyDeleteToday my Teacher Librarian taought my first grade class how to write a works cited and why that is important. She has collaborated with me on a wonderful unit about plants and used the SMART Board, websites and experiments to help the kids understand plants and plant parts. I am willing to try web 2.0 and use technology only if I have a partner like my Teacher Librarian to help me and my class. I don't want to try it alone. She helps move the students in our school into the 21st century!
